Dustin, he does, but he wasn't all awake when I called him to give him the parts order. He'd had a late night the night before.

Ummm, late night or not, kinda a common sense thing there. If I told a mechanic "hey, I have a vibration/shimmy when I apply my brakes" he should know right off the bat, hummm, sounds like warped rotors or hard spots in the rotors, gonna have to change the PADS and ROTORS to solve this problem for my customer. Do you remember when we had our lil g2g down there a few months ago and you was telling me about what your car was doing and I told you that you needed to replace the pads and rotors because you were experiencing the common "warped rotors" that everyone has experienced? I am sorry but to me this is just a common sense thing. JMO
Maybe because I know some things about cars and took auto mechanics in high school, makes me think this way, but time for a reality check and ask your mechanic if he really knows what he is doing. Like I said JMO!

He's a bus mech, who owns 2 Corvettes that he works on, and repairs other cars and sells them off.

Finally felt good enough to take Paddy out for some "road therapy", I'm not happy when cooped up in the condo. Had to take the most convoluted route back home to avoid the NC Dot trucks spraying salt brine for Monday's (crippling and dangerous winter event), the weather people do go a bit overboard around here.

Yup, they were parked along the road today at the Food Lion, that was a new one even for around here. Weather guys have everybody so darn worked up, its gonna do what its gonna do, can't change it. You know what, come spring they be going goofy over thunderstorms, come summer its the heat, come fall its the hurricanes.....etc.

Worked on my Grille Mod combining a OEM Chrome grille and a Billet grille like john 11 here did.

Using a Delta Disk/Belt Sander makes speedy easy sanding work.

Some other Tools I am using are a few Air Die Grinders , Dremel Tool, Air Muffler Cutoff Tool, Air Body Saw with a Hacksaw Blade in it, Air Sander, Tape and anything else that comes in handy as I progress. Got the Air Nibbler out but not needed for this project so far.

The table is made of Oak and is a Downdraft Sanding Table made for sanding woodworking projects hence the pegboard top with all the holes.

Coming along nicely, some more grinding on the Billet Grille to get it to FIT in the OEM Frame I cut and sanded out.

14 degrees outside, a nice 70 in the garage.
