Hi all,
Please welcome me to the forum since it's my first time. I hope to share and also get some valuable information here.
I own a 2008 LS HHR w/a 2.2L ... it just went over 115K and overall I'm happy with it. I drive it 80 miles to work/home at least 5 days a week. I've maintained it for regular oil changes and at 85K I replaced the Spark Plugs, Serpentine Belt, and Tires. New rotors & pads @ 101K ...
Tomorrow I will be having the Transmission serviced for flush and new oil. Its been shifting a little hard in first gear for about a week. Also, I have a eng. code for a # 2 cly miss. ... Has any body had this happened ?
Will it be worth my while to continue to put money in it ?
Should I fear a imminent timing belt/chain failure ?

Welcome to the site Combosabor, sound like you are taking good care of it, I haven't heard that they go through timing belts. But there are lots of guy's here who will be able to tell you better than me.

Just ordered some chrome ralleys and smoothie caps for mine for
the summer set up. Gonna let my 17's sit and run 16's year round
with the bland multi hole's in winter ~

We will be going to visit my mother who is 92 today and still drives a stick shift car. Five speed in the floor. I hope I can get around as well as she does if I reach 92.

Installed my canuck springs, but now I'm getting a traction control error on the DIC and the abs light is also on. The car runs great and shifts smooth. Anyone else have this issue?
