My previous ride was a 1996 Buick Riviera Coupe. 3.8L Supercharged engine. 240HP (but here's the kicker) 280 ft/lbs of torque. QUICK! FAST! Quiet, luxurious, rode great. Leather, heated seats, moonroof, power everything but man oh man the stereo was the worst stock stereo I've ever seen. Mileage was 17 in the city and 24 on the highway - just not good enough anymore. Have only had "The Red Sled" for 12 hours but I LOVE it.

Sold my 1998 S10 SS for a 2008 HHR SS. Wanted something with a back seat and a little cargo room and also something that got better gas mileage. Oh and something affordable. Found that the HHR had it all. Sporty Looks, Good Performance, Great Gas Mileage (Average +6MPG more than my S10), plenty of room for a small SUV, and was under 24K

Sold this

I sold mine to a guy in FL for $6,000 which wanted the SS for a project truck as well. I had it up for sale on Cars.com, AutoTrader, and eBay for like 5 months. Sorry you missed it

Bye Bye Audi

Last Tuesday I(gladly)gave up a '97 Audi A6 Quattro wagon with two bad front hubs,a weak trans, faulty ignition switch,at least one blown head gasket,an endgate that only opened from the inside,an inoperative sunroof and a peeling clear coat.I'll slightly miss the all wheel drive in snowy conditions(put foot on gas, motor away from traffic like there was dry pavement)but having driven 2 Cavalier wagons in past years,I expect the HHR won't be too awful in the glop.

We gave up our 1999 STS, gladly I might add. We had rented an HHR in New Hampshire and were happy with the way it handled and how much we could haul with it.

It also didn't hurt that we're getting much better gas milage now. Plus our insurance went down. I figured it would have gone up a slight bit for the HHR being newer, but I like the HHR more and more everyday. It just keeps on giving

OH, I loved my 94 STS. But it was easily the most unreliable GM car I've ever owned.. when it was good, it was very very good.. when it was bad it was horrid!
