Well since I ever owned my first car back in high school "1987" until now my cars have all been japan made. But when I first seen the hhr it was time for a change. The first time I seen this retro style, I had to have it. So I traded in my 97 acura integra and got me 06 daytona blue metallic 2LT fully loaded. I know it's the best choice for me and my family. also just pick up a 06 chevy colorado extreme. Like a rock!

I traded my 01 PT Cruiser LTD. Beautiful car and I really liked it, BUT it started giving me trouble that would cost me about $2000. Since this was the second Chrysler product in a row with the same problem, I decided to try the HHR. MAN, am I glad I did. I love this car ! It's a basic LS in Metallic Blue. The last Chevy I owned was 35 years ago. A 70 Chevelle 396 SS 4-speed. So I'm back to a Chevy and "I'm Loving It".

I didn't have to give up completely. I had an '04 Silverado Extended Cab truck with the Hyper-tech chip, flowmaster dual exhaust, K&N and a throttle body block. The truck runs great, but much like a couple of the other folks here, I drive a ways to work, 92 miles one way and more on days I visit local clients. I had to get something with great mileage, and I loved the HHR the first time I saw one. I took the truck and gave it to my fiance's 17 yr old son to drive so I still have it when I need it. I took the Hyper-tech off and programmed it on the fiance's '04 Suburban. Yes we ARE a Chevy family! Sandstone Silverado and HHR and Silverstone Suburban.
