A 1997 Malibu with 170,000 miles. I kind of wish I had it back for winter.

Got out of '03 Honda Civic lease

Gave up my 03 Honda Civic LX with 36000 miles on it...Was leasing and racking up miles quickly and always wanted an HHR...7/4 0% for 72 made the switch worth it.

I gave up nothing really, no trade in or anything but it is my daily driver while I have a turbocharged Miata for the real fun

I have up my 95' 3.4L Camaro. It was a hot looking car, pretty fast with the mods I put in (VENOM chip, Cold air intake, Flowmaster dual exhaust). But it was also the biggest money pit! From what I spent on parts, gas, and everything else I don't regret the trade in. I won't even tell you what the dealership gave me for it (embarrassing), but trading it in for 0% APR for 72months def made it worth my wile.

The car I gave up

'99 Chevy Suburban with 92K miles on it. I was driving a '96 Monte Carlo to work (I bought it for my daughter a couple of months ago - it's a cherry with 56K miles on it - for $4500). Since she starts driving at the end of August, I was worried about gas mileage since I drive 60 miles round trip to work. The "little Suburban" will do all the big one did except pull my 29 foot camper. I worked out a deal with Dad to use his truck when we go camping, so I'm a WHOLE lot better off.

I just ordered my HHR today...so after the estimated 4 weeks delivery, it will be replacing my 1998 Mercury Mystique (225K miles...it doesn't owe me a thing). The Mystique has been a good car for the most part, but everything seems to be wearing out at once (leaking A/C compressor shaft seal, oil pan gasket leak, blocked coolant bypass valve in transmission, rusting sills, flaking bumper paint, burned out sunroof motor, clunking CV joint, worn out tires....etc, etc.). The HHR will be much more practical since I'm a part time gigging musician and it should be better on gas as well. I'll still have a 1993 Z28 and 1989 Iroc-Z in the garage for fun!
