What did I give up for my HHR?

1994 Buick Roadmaster Estate (wagon) with the LT1.

Did you know you could lay down a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood in the back of those babys?

From Tracker to HHR

I got rid of my 2003 Chevy Tracker, 4wheel drive, with over 200,000 miles on it. The Tracker needed a new oil pan and something was up with the radiator. I gave the Tracker to my sister, her husband is a mechanic. The two issues were going to be expensive to fix. I got my 2009 HHR, with around 57,000 miles on it, at the end of August. It is black and I love it. Wondering if I'll miss the 4wheel drive this winter? I live within 10 miles of Lake Ontario, we get lots of lake effect snow. I had a front wheel drive vehicle before the Tracker. Thanks everyone, I've learned a lot from reading the forums

got rid of a 2005 Saab 9-2X turbo (saabaru) w/140,000 + on it. been a long time subaru fan and the saab was a bit of a rare breed, i loved the styling compared to a wrx wagon. had it tuned to about 280hp, but i gotta say that it dont compare to the SS! all wheel drive is nice to have, especially here in Ohio, but I had to give chevy another try. Had numerous Z-28's in my day and a couple of Blazer's, lost faith in chevy when they dissed me on a paint defect on my 96 Z28. so far cant complain about my SS, really fun sleeper!!

Traded in my 2007 Silverado Crew Cab LTZ Z-71 for my 09 HHR SS. They gave me cash on top of the car for the truck.

Truck was costing me around $100/week in gas, whereas the HHR is $60 roughly every 2 weeks.

So $5200 vs $1800 in fuel costs per year. I think I got ahead.

Dumped my '97 Cherokee which I've owned since 2000 to pick up an '07 2LT. Got the Jeep as a lease return with 34,000 miles and put 150,000 miles on it. We'll probably have a gigantic show storm this winter.

I had no choice but to put my 98 Chrysler Sebring convertible to rest. She was good while she lasted and just became to expensive for upkeep. I am so very happy with my HHR, I'm in love again!

Had a chance to get on of those a few years back but research showed that parts are harder to find and pricer for those than my Acura or my GTO......
