Auto-starts on sticks generally have an in-gear lockout to prevent any accidents - so it is definitely do-able. (I agree the manufacturers will avoid it though.)

4wheel disc brakes, top hinged liftgate glass. full carpeting in the rear with seats down. supercharged. better wheel choices from the factory. 18" would be great.

A SS version , A lowder Sound System with one 10 or 12 in the rear besides one 8th. More custom parts. Different rim choices!

What about a power rear lift gate? That would stop all those "beauty bar dents".

How about ditch the beauty bar - in fact, shave the beauty bar, front & rear antennas, rear wiper, rear washer - and add a frenched-in power antenna on the driver side rear.

Well, maybe they won't go that far...

Y'know - I don't have that problem. Because of what I've read here, I was paranoid about closing the hatch at first. But... it's been 6 weeks, and there hasn't been a problem and the metal on my hatch doesn't show any sign of flex when I press on the beauty bar or bowtie, so I don't worry about closing it any more.

Same with the easily dentable hood that others have experienced... mine seems pretty solid.

I'm thinking they may have fixed the flexing and denting issue because my metal is pretty solid in those areas.

they have the same stuff at Pep Boys
1/8 for aound small areas and front 4 windows and back window- $9.99 a roll

1/4 for around the 2 back side windows- 11.99 a roll- this fills that crack around the window and looks good

and instead of the 3/4 for the mid body between colors or to accent the colors,,, the wheel well molding looks and works better. 2 rolls are about $26
