What other option would you like to see on the HHR?
Lots of good ideas here. I voted for dual exhaust, but would also like to see navigation system, pop out back windows and power lift gate. One thing that should be standard though would be a lever to pull to open the lift gate like other cars have. The electric one seems like it's going to be a problem and we should have another way to enter that area of the car in the event it fails.
5-speed automatic with a manual gear control. Think Autostick from Chrysler. The one in my 300C has proven it's worth, letting me hold onto a lower gear while in a corner.
Factory rear seat DVD entertainment system. Is this the only van/suv/crossover/thingie on the market without this option?
HID forward and LED rear lighting. Halogen is so 2004...
Hypodermic needle delete option.. The lock plungers must go!
Cloth or leather door inserts that match the seating upholstery. It's a sea of plastic, let's break it up a bit.
Window switch location, arm rests, cupholders, itsy-bitsy glove box, and the rest of the common complaints.

More power:
I'm a firm believer in more power. If the HHR had a 3500 V-6 I believe the power would be incredible. I have had really good luck with this series engines. I have a 1996 Monte Carlo with 212,00 miles, a 2003 Impala, with 89,000 miles, no major problem. The MPG is advertised anywhere from 31 to 32 for the Monte Carlo and Malibu. With the V-6 no doubt looking at 35+ mpg if the gearing is right. I got 32 MPG on my 96 Monte when first bought new in 96. The added HP would be outstanding. Turbo is too hot, supercharging is too expensive, and really, normal aspiration would be the way to go, no fancy addon's. They would sell a ton of them, I'd trade mine for one right now. also, the rear lift gate would be nice too. I think the button could be incorporated with the already touch button to open the back glass or the hatch. I also like the idea of heated outside rear view mirrors and the turn signals in them would be nice, being how the little taillights now are Little.
