I think the issue with the donut on the front is on the SS models w/Brembo brakes....

You're right
It most definitely is.

These rotors won't fit behind a regular steel wheel.

The spare in the back is not large enough to accommodate the large rotor... therefore, you must switch it with another rear rim/tire and put the dummy on the back.

This is only if you develop of a FRONT tire failure...

I like it, sure it is a pain to see at the stop lights sometimes but it blocks the sun much better than other vehicles with the low front window. Great for driving as many miles as I do.

I stop at the white line at all stop lights and stop signs. Have no trouble seeing the lights and I am 6'2

Some of that depends on where you live and how close some municipalities place their signals to that white line. (there are "guidelines" but no standard) I do the same and the majority of signals are too close to see here in Ohio. Thus the "Guide Viewer" I use.

Yeah, same issue here in Carolina Greybeard, our traffic lights are placed in accordance with "does that there look about good to you Bubba", rather than pesky state regulations.

Some here are out in the middle of the intersection, no problem. Some are right at the white line....

I hear ya, we have one in town that's viewable best with the sunroof open on the '11, otherwise you have to sort of duck and sit your head on the passenger side dash, its no problem in the convertible though.

Re: "I hate the locks, Everytime you put the car in park the doors unlock" Can't that be re-programmed? Most GM vehicles have that option.
