We've only had ours for 2 weeks. We're at about 900 miles already. I'm averaging 21.5 mpg right now.

When we first got it, it was 17.3... it's getting better.

On mine, I reset everthing every time, except the oil life and I get between 23 and 26 average per TANK. I drive to work and back 33 miles on freeway and the rest city. On the freeway I drive between 70-75 mph. It highest average per TANK has been 26.8 from Thousand Oaks, CA. to Lake Havasu, AZ. driving 75+ mph with three adults plus lugage. I've played with the DIC and if on the freeway at 68mph I reset the avg.MPG it has gone up to 40 for a short distance then it drop, it's hard to find a flat road. All and all I'm happy with the millage.

I took a day trip today from Washington, DC to Kent Narrows (eastern shore of Maryland). Roundtrip was 120 miles with average speed of 68 mph (some speeds as high as 80). For those of you who know the geography, except for going over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, this is very flat terrain. I averaged 31.2 MPG. No complaints here.

Mine is a 2.4 automatic and when I first got it I was averaging 16-19 in town, then I switched to premium gas and it went up to 19-21. Switched to top tier premium gas and now I'm averagng 23-24 in town. Gas does matter, I figure I'm probably getting the same value if not a little more out of the top tier premium than I was with the cheaper regular, and my car is running smoother with a little more pep.

2.4 auto - I've tried all grades of fuel and have not noticed much difference in MPG's. On all grades of fuel, I average:
City: 25-ish
Highway: 29-ish
I did take a trip once from PHX to West Texas and averaged 30 mpg. Still, I'm happy with the mileage, considering my last vehicle (Dodge Ram w/a 4.7) averaged 14-16 mpg.

I drive 75 miles per day. 90% of it is highway and I get 31 mpg. I have calculated it every time I fill up. The best I have achieved is 34 mpg. I have a 2.2 w/auto trans and 11,000+ in miles.
