Whats your HHR's Name??
I haven't named mine yet, but my friends have. Taking into consideration that 90% of my friends are true dorks, they have decided that my car looks like a space shuttle from Star Trek. They haven't as a whole figured out which one yet so they refer to it as "the Runabout", "the Galileo" or "the SC-4".
I have an 06 Cobalt ss/sc named holysh** - My 06 HHR has been lovingly called "The Hey Ride" and "The Pumkin" but its name is simply 'H' or "The H", the 53 Chevy is named "The Slug" Look at it, you'll see what I mean.
Creamsicle, like the old ice cream favorite. Then you could put Good Humor signs on the sides
i've decided to call mine Phoenix. one, i have a strange obsession with the phoenix, and thin it'd be bad a** if they actually existed. but also for other reasons. the HHR signifies to me the return of real, quality car designs, and a "rebirth" of my faith in modern automotive designers. it is also a "rebirth" in myself, as an automotive enthusiast, as it is the first of several things for me, as far as owning different types of cars go. my first FWD, my first non-V8, my first 4-door, my first hatchback, my first manual trans, and my first turbo. though, it's not a first for owning Chevys...that's all i own lol.
after spending many years of my life as the typical "V8 RWD or nothing" domestic fanboy, spending time with and in this car has helped me gain tremendous respect for the rest of the automotive world. it's because of this car i am not so naive about different vehicles, and have taken a genuine interest in ALL types of cars, and not dismissing everything with a simple "it's not domestic, not V8-powered, nor RWD...i don't care" like i used to in middle/high school.
