mine is a black SS, and i've decided recently to name her Phoenix, in referrence to many things. rebirth of the gorgeous classic, retro styling (and making it work, unlike many futile attempts around the auto industry), rebirth of the SS badge as actually meaning something again (GM even says it's their first SS that they put great effort into to make it better than a standard model, not just pepping up the engine), and also rebirth of my faith in auto manufacturers today, as it took me a long time to become okay with 4-cyl engines, FWD, etc. i own a 1970 Chevy truck and a 1991 Camaro (both with a V8). Phoenix works for me

My bride originally called it Eyeore... because well, she likes Eyeore. When we found out that variations of that plate were taken, she decided it was called Peggy Sue (not because of the song directly, but from her horses name when she was Miss Turlock Rodeo Queen... which happened to have been named for the song.)
