The light dimmer switch seems to be ok, BUT I have a spare or two I will try out to see if there is any difference.

I can see the diagram in that pic, but it just shows basically the off on function switch. none of the set reset circuits.

Judging by the cruise circuit diagram, it appears there are no illumination leds in the switch, strange. Thanks!

That's because they are in the dashboard lighting circuit I posted first.

Yeah Yeah Yeah.... Problems seem to have been worked out. First, don't know if this might have been involved or not, but we found a blown parking light fuse. changed that, and also while I was doing some stuff, I came up with a different dimmer switch. I popped that in, and between the two, My radio lights now work properly, And the cruise control buttons now light up. Yeah!!!
Another possibly dumb question. Can the steering wheel radio controls be added to a rig that was not built with them I stumbled across a junker that had that option. I got the switch pack, and the wiring for it under the air bag. I did not get the clock spring. The radio was also there, but I have no interest in trying to get it unlocked, and My Premium radio has XM I can't tell if that radio does.

Coulda been the switch or the fuse, my bet is the dimmer switch

Here is a link for info on those steering wheel controls for the radio. I did mine a few years ago. Easy.
