Will whoever gets there recall work done please post about their experience. Give a choice I would prefer not to have the work done. Let us if the headliner has to be pulled down or not. Also do you have more hedliner noises after the work was done? Thanks

If it's important enough for the car to be recalled, it's important enough to have it done. If they mess up my headliner or anything else...believe me, they will fix it or there will be HE double hockey sticks to pay.

There comes a point when you need to have some faith in your dealer. Have they screwed up your HHR before and not made things right...if so, take it to another dealer. If not, give them the benefit of the doubt.

How would you like someone questioning how well you do your job before you're given a chance to perform it. I know I wouldn't like it. Give me a chance to show I can do what I'm being paid for...if I screw up, then chew my butt.

PS...I will call the dealership to let them know I will be bringing it in for this recall so they can get the parts if they don't already have them on hand. As always, I'll be happy to share my experience.

I decided to schedule mine for this Friday 04/11 at the dealer where I purchased my vehicle. They told me to be there at 8am and I will be out in about 1 hour. I wanted to get it done on a Saturday, but they say they don't have trim mechanics working on weekends. I asked them if this was similar to the Cobalt recall, and they told me very similar... I am hoping to get back in the shop and take some pictures with my blackberry phone during the process, that is... if they let me so I can post the pictures and comment on the experience.

Recall for HHR w/o roof racks

Has anyone had the recall work done on their car? Can you describe what was done? Any pictures?

I am trying to decide if I want to have it done or not.

Thanks in advance!

Haven't heard of that recall, I know there is one for cars with no side airbags
