GMpartsdirect.com lists a new 4T45E for about $1600, but my dealer retails them for $2900. Quite the markup.

great time. That would give my lightly-modded Z28 a run for it's money...
but why show up at the track with a full tank? I've heard the best thing, is if you plan for at least several runs, to show up with about 3/8 tank. A full tank of 94 is a lot of weight to pull, you could prolly shave even more totin' a lot less fuel.

I always liked to show up at the track with a full tank because then I knew I was at least a little quicker on the street when money was on the line.
