SS grill

I discovered the SS grill woun't fit the hard way. I wish I had been reading the forum sooner. Any way I have removed a 1 inch section right under the center bar and glassed it back together. haven't test fitted it yet. I'll share my progress later.

I may try some custom grill work this summer. With my headlights blacked out and the grill blacked out, most hhr owners including SS' don't recognize mine unless i'm sitting at a light, Yet i know an SS is comin a mile away, I'm not sure if thats good or bad.

Today at a gas station a kid in an older SS camero asked me if the car was stock and if it was a factory batman edition. I said no, but it should have been.

I put the SS bumper on my car a few weeks back, and I had a billet grill lying around and installed it just to get an idea.

I just never warmed to these as the bent ribs stick out like a sore thumb.

Street Scene is working on grill mesh inserts if anyone has to make a change.

Any news on the Street Scene grille for the SS? Has the idea been scrapped?

I would have to check they still list the number in their catalog and web site.

Call them and ask for Dave he would know about them.
