I gotta disagree with yall on this Mine's a black SS and well even this morning when I stopped at the gas station a guy commented "sharp looking car" and yesterday when I stopped at UPS to drop off a package one of the employees came out of they office just to look at it and find out what it was so for me the black stands out

Same here. I've had guys stop me at gas stations + ask me "what kind of car is that that I'm driving?", then I get a thumbs up when I tell them it's an HHR SS w/ a turbo 4. Even the guys at the dyno who've done lots of work on Cobalt SS/SC and SS/TC weren't aware of what the HHR offered. I DO love the sleeper potential this has though .

Some people like it some people don't. Down here in Tallahassee, I bring my SS to car meets, shows, local car club drive-ins, etc. I have never had any comments other than good ones, and our SS's look pretty damn good sitting next to a '57 chevy or a GTO, especially when they invite you to park next to them! Now, I know for a fact that my SS is the only one where I live and yes I get a ton of compliments and looks!

A bright red SS gets a lot of heads turning.

It must be where you live that makes the difference, I have both an LT and a , and I get lot's of positive comments and questions in both all of the time, but it's the gear heads and younger crowd that's asks about the SS . It's the soccer Moms asking about the LT .

This is true - I think the ricer crowd really respects what the SS can do, especially after they've been left in the dust by one!

It happened to me again today! I was getting out of my car, and had a random woman come up to me from across the parking lot and say "hey that's a really cool car!". It's nice to see that the SS can attract folks from all demographics.

Went to the Automobile Club today to swap my vanity plates and the lady behind the counter insisted on coming out to the lot to see my 2009 Victory Red HHR Panel. I couldn't get rid of her. The occasional "thumbs up" on the freeway makes the drive home enjoyable too.

Recently I drove my SS all the way to California and as I was driving down the freeway near oakland/ san fran area, an LT pulled up beside me and gave me the It was really cool. I love blasting by some civic or something like that, and they try to keep up. Most that get smoked meet me at the next light or offramp wanting to know what I have under the hood. I had this happen this past week and my wife yelled back "you don't want to know, you'd be jealous! I couldn't stop laughing after that!
