Ballz.

My tire and rim picked up this little jem on the way home from work tonight. Nice chunk of welding slag. Dented in the back of the rim and looks like it may have broken through a pin hole size dent. Best part was changing the tire in the dark in the pouring rain on my way home from working afternoons.......
Looks like I will be getting a set of tires and new wheels I did not want.

Contact your insurance company to see if it might be covered on your policy, even if you have to pay a deductible, it might limit your out of pocket expenses.

Welp, only cost me $500 for a pair of tire's installed. Rim was just dented a bunch on the inside but was not punctured. Ended up with a set of Goodyear Eagle GT's as they were the only thing local I could find that were reasonably priced Z rated all seasons that were available right away. Every place I called was at least a weeks wait for tires. Not the tires I would have bought if I was not in this situation but the car will be gone in the spring so Im not to worried about it.

looks kinda funny with the aggressive Eagle GT tread pattern up front and the the generic Michelin pattern out back but what ever. The rears have almost 30K on them now so I may replace them with a matching set of GT's in a few weeks when I have some spare cash.

I dig the GT's tread, thought they were gonna be great, but not sticky enough for my tastes. Look Aggressive as hell.Mediocre performance, great price. Overall pretty decent tire. Connies next time if I can find the things.

If I was keeping the car I would have went with BFGoodrich g-force T/A KDW's as I have had a few sets in the past and they were awesome.

Wish there was a happy both, great traction and no hydroplane going to try these this winter. The goodyear f1's worked good but failed at 1700. so general is next reviews are good from cars with more power than we have.
