With mine it would hit under acceleration and lose it's boost. The engineer from GM performance had us shim the IC forward and it solved it.

My intercooler was replaced after it was damaged. It was installed a little farther back than it should have been. It was fine till the new T map was installed.

Mine would lose boost only on making a right hand turn....until the other day when it lost boost totally after the wire ripped off. Very bad design from GM on this setup. I hope to get it fixed soon.....the techs are scratching their heads on this one.

The issue is GM to save cost used a Bosch T Map from a Alfa Romeo. This fit the tube the best with only a small mod and wire harness adaption. The only real issues it the direction on the plug. For the most the clearance is slim but it really needs little.

Mine would hit as the engine torqued up and back pulling the tube into the AC. I would be at 17 PSI and then drop to 5 PSI. In time it would have damaged the connector.

It only did it under hard acceleration and could not be seen on the lift. I finally laid under the car looking at it and figured it out. I then spoke to the GMPD engineer that lead the upgrade project and he said I only needed to move the IC forward. The dealer took care of this at no extra charge and we have had no issues since.

That was the issue no codes.

It would make contact and either shorted the T Map or what I believed broke the seal on the t map to the tube and would kill of the boost. By it losing a seal I could see why I would have no code.

Just a 1/4 inch shim gave me room to have enough clearance and no more issues.

I kept having a code P0236 finally got that resolved for the time being. I had the butt connector taken off and soldered direct. Not having the issue no more. Don't mean to steal the thread but maybe something else to think of while re-installing it. Soldering them seem to take that GREMLIN out of the loop.....

Thats the answer I was looking for....I have the same situation..no codes and loss of press....I can make it happen on demand..though some days its really hard to give it any kind of fuel ., while others it will hold.... Now to make some time to go exploring..thx
