Oddly enough, the purple wire carries air temp and pressure data. H'mm, I wonder.

No I didn't repair the purple wire I did some digging and found a company called ballenger motorsports that sells plug n play adapters for dirt cheap I didn't trust my soldering skills enough to attempt a repair.

Boosting issues continued

2010 SS 5spd
just replaced intercooler and charge pipes to fix an underboost condition, and now i still have no boost and the turbo is fluttering badly car struggles to drive past 4k rpms the RPD claims the inlet air is 156° with no fluctuations and cooling fan is running non stop. I've already disconnected the battery a handful of times and cleaned MAF, both MAPs and plug n play connectors.

That code is the lower TMAP sensor again. Did the new sensor get turned?

For the record, removing the small bump does NOT allow the sensor to be turned 180*. The anti-rotation bar must be removed for that. It is molded into the lower charge pipe.

I considered turning mine 180*, but I suspect that doing so would put the connector into the fan housing. Here is how I dealt with the TMAP sensor.

Borrowing donbrew's turban... That means that the new charge piping relocates the lower TMAP sensor out of harm's way?

You said that you got new plug and play connectors 5 months ago. Did you rotate the sensor at that time, or did you just let it continue banging into the AC? Or maybe you haven't driven it since then?

If that oil is from inside the charge pipe, the turbo is likely shot.
If there is that much oil getting into the charge piping it is likely fouling the Tmap sensor.
You don't state the current mileage but I'll guess it's a lot.
Sadly it sounds like this engine/turbo is just worn out.

I'm at 140k on the clock and I believe my turbo is ok I mean yesterday morning it was still making 7psi with that massive gash in the lower charge pipe oil was in the pipe but it was a light film nothing too severe and now I have a completely new charge pipes and intercooler and zero boost

The new one positions the sensor well out of harms way directly below the Throttle body

Let's not jump to the "bad turbo" just yet. That oil could certainly be from the PCV system.

You haven't answered my other questions.
