The present ordering info lists only limited slip for $495, and I have seen window stickers listing it as such, so I expect that the Brembos + limited slip will be quite a bit more. What you are mentioned is info repeated in a few magazines based on the early test drives last summer. I expect it is just in error to expect the Brembos to be added for no additional cost over what LS costs now. Sorry, my car is being built soon too and I was hoping the same thing, but don't think it will turn out that way.

Big Brake Kits ROCK!

Add a big brake kit to your HHR (yes fronts only) and feel the stopping power. I love em since I tend to put big wheels on my cars.

I just want them for the looks, don't plan on racing it, so I don't think I'll need anything more than the factory brakes.

I ordered the LSD on mine, $495 I'm guessing without the Brembo's. If the LSD package will still be $495 with the Brembo brakes when they're available, shouldn't the General have given all of us who ordered the LSD a free upgrade coupon to the Brembo brakes? Oh wait, the tooth fairy is at the door....

Thanks, hadn't heard the updated price. Everything I read said LSD and Brembo brakes (when available) for $495. I don't feel so bad now.

I am working with a supplier to come up with a kit that we can retrofit. the calipers alone are $300 each side, then we need lines, rotors, pads. figuring about 8-900 for the pkg, but that is a real preliminary price.

I have seen pics of the big brake kit it is not going to be wheel friendly for most after market wheels. If you get this option and your thinking about after market wheels your choices will be greatly reduced.

God Bless!
