That makes sense. I was reading about the new Blue Devil Corvette ZR1 and the huge brembos on that go on that baby. They had to modify the rotors so they would fit these wheels... it is the same carbon-ceramic brake package that is used to stop the Bugatti Veyron and the Ferrari FXX.

Bottom line: if you get the Brembos ur gonna need aftermarket wheels that will accommodate them and that means a limited selection.

My Evo had factory Brembos and rode on 17"s. I wouldnt worry too much about fitment issues

I Hope They Do Come Out With The Brembos For What The Journalists Say. I Mean Some Of Them Rub Shoulders With Manufacturer Insiders, So They Must Be Right!

Brembo Yet?

So, it doesn't sound like anyone who's ordered or taken delivery on their SS has gotten the Brembos. Anyone heard (or better yet seen) anything different in terms of units already delivered or recent orders?

Is there any information if the limited slip differential will still be available separately from the Brembo brakes? Or only as a package deal.

G85 is the LSD, which is also available on at least one other platform. So I am sure it will still be available as a stand-alone option once the Brembos are finally available.

Hey all, new to the forum. Going to be getting my HHR SS soon, so from what you are saying the Brembo's will not be available till the 1st of april. Do I really need them for anything besides cosmetics, also if i do get them what are the chances of getting snow tires over them?
