I bought mine last week at www.RockAuto.com online store, Brand New for $172 each NO CORE! When you figure not having a proper core to return on a rebuilt (how is anybody else gonna get a rebuilt if nobody turns in a proper core), and the unavailability of the rebuilts, buying new wasn't a bad choice.
PS: They showed up at my door the second day after I ordered them, the Raybestos rotors at $35 each showed up the next day.

I was trying to do this myself BUT I couldn't wait, my fillings were coming out from the shake from my brakes! I just ordered and put on a nice set of slotted rotors and pads for under $160 all the way around. after bedding the pads no more shake! and I did check my wheel bearings before I did the work. these cars are bad for them going out.
good stock replacement rotors from Napa are the best from what I have read on this forum!

I checked the RockAuto website for brakes under 2008 HHR SS but didn't see anything for Brembo? Do you have the part numbers of the items you bought?

You have to look at 2009 HHR, turbo engine,, brakes, caliper. I think the 56 brake package. You will recognize them by the pictures.

Don't now if the numbers are the same but the RPO code for Brembos is J56.
