Doesn't the computer dumb the engine back to stock HP levels if you do any mods at all? In other words, you have to reprogram the computer for mods to take effect, at least that's what I've read on here.

I have read the same thing. There is disconnectiong the battery for a period of time or pulling the ECM fuse. There is also something about after is has been driven a 100 miles.

I would to thank ANR HHR (Randy) for picking me up and taking me back over.
This is my opinion of what I felt and heard.
There is more torque steer I hit the throttle coming up a hill and it really snapped to the right. I could feel the pull while on the throttle.
When first starting up and the hood open it is very loud till the vacuum goes to around 15 in Hg. At cruising speed it does not sound much louder than stock when putting the foot still not very loud.

can we get some pics please????????????

There is one photo in the Supporting Vendors forum about the intake from a vendor. Let me get the link.

But I would think more photo's would be nice. It does create a lot more room, but I still am going to wait for a CAI.

Unless on the throttle I cannot hear any difference. When on the throtle I hear a low tone whooshing sound but not much change in the sound volume.
