Computer hold down "clamps"

in this pic from the Indy 500 thread, where the top of the ECM is held down in place by the plastic "clamps or holders" on my SS, the right side "clamp " is tight and secure, the left side "clamp" does not fit properly, it is somewhat secure, but the entire "clamp" does not lock down or snap into place like the right side.
when you SS owners get a chance, can you check your connections and let me know if anyone else has this problem? There is a line scribed on mine, so they must have know there was a slight problem, but never corrected it at the factory. going in for service on the 30th. thanks for any info...

The driver's side clamp on mine snaps all the way down and is flush with the rest of the connector. The passenger side is up very slightly.

exactly the same here.....if you look at the pic(front of vehicle) I am referring to the right side clamp=driver's side and the left side clamp=passenger side.....
since the left side(passenger side) clamp is up very slightly, is your connector not totally flush into the ECM like on the right side(drivers side)?
my connector on the left side (passenger side) is out very slightly due to the clamp not totally flush, I can only get one side of the clamp to click in, don't know if this is because of the wiring harness going into the ECM is on that side. hope I explained that ok....thanks for the reply.....

just a question about these "clamps". have you undone both sides then tried to snap them back down (right and left side) at the same time?

to be honest with you....no......only because I am not sure if this would somehow disconnect or partically disconnect the ECM before disconnecting the battery. I have lifted both clamps slightly (but not totally lifted them out completely) and pressed down again with the same results. When you lift the clamps, there is some type of connector that slides out of each side, and I don't want to have them totally slide out with the battery connected.
