Question Decode VIN Help

I am considering purchasing this HHR SS with VIN 3GCCA75X89S621663. Can anyone tell me where to find any information about how to decode the VIN? I'm just not finding the right info on the web. Thanks in advance.

GoOgle "gm vin decoder" and this one pops up : https://www.gmpartsonline.net/vin-decoder

One problem you may be having is that GM classifies the HHR as a small truck. What is it that you think it will tell you that you don't already know?

Then there is this:

Yes, not a lot of information in the VIN coding. The X says it's an SS, the 9 says it's 2009.

On the inside of the passenger glove box door, is a sticker with all the RPO codes for the vehicle. You can decode those here.

The chart I posted from Mitchell seems to be incorrect. GM moved the vin card info to a dealer only site. I know I posted a detail chart that was correct somewhere here

Drive it, enjoy it! It will let you know if it likes you!
What are your spidey senses telling you?
It’s a real SS

Don. I think your chart may be just for the 2010 ? I know my 2010 has the "M" in the 8th digit spot for the 2.0 L. Maybe the 08's 09's were a little different since I've heard others say the 8th digit could be a "X".
