The gauge Mounts with out mods but it does not use the same mounts as the Facotry gauge.

You will remove the factory guage with two screws and spacer that go through two holes in the pillar mount and not reuse them.

The new Gauge will have a Silver U bracket and two nuts and threads of its own. The Aeroforce gauge is musch shorter than the Autometer so you have penty of room.

Note the picture and you will see the Aeroforce and where ther bracket bolts up.

The hardest thing you have to do is decide how you want the gauge lined up. It is just a personel choice here.

I did mine so it was level but I noticed some like it tilted like the factory guage like the photo above. So check it out before you snap the pillar into place and tighten the gauge down.

So yes there is no mods as gcsd has said but it will mount a little differenty. When you have it in hand it is a no brainer and just make sure to line it up the way you prefer it before putting the pillar into place.

Autometer has them too but none are specific to the HHR.

Chevy pods are available but no one can tell you if any will fit out HHR.

Thanks Eric, but none are specific to the HHR.

The A pillar in our HHR is unique, I have tried several universal pods, and none of them fit properly. If anyone finds one that works, please let us know!

I just got my first OnStar Vehicle Diagnostics email sicne I installed the Aeroforce gauge and it was unable to complete the diagnostics on the engine, trasmission, emissions or air bags systems.
Has anyone else with the Aeroforce had this?

I have noticed this too. Right around the time I installed mine, the e-mailed diagnostics have been missing those items.

I still get tire pressure and "OnStar" system checks back ok though.

Not sure if it's just a coincidence, or if it doesn't report back properly when something is plugged into the OBDII port.
