Hurts to watch that video, again. Did anyone ever figure out what happened- turbo let go, or oil line?

calculated rpm

iirc the turbo let go. I was messing around on the way to work in my tuned ss tonight and hit 138 in 4th before I decided to slow down. I didn't really feel like shifting to 5th to keep going. idk what rpm I was at, I was looking at the road and rpd. ill have to do it again when I am actually logging the run lol. this is only the 2nd time I've pushed the car near 140.

so I went and did a gear/speed to rpm conversion and it looks like I was at about 6500rpm lol. makes sense why it didn't look like it was wanting to accellerate much more than 138mph. I'm guessing I couldve hit 140 in 4th if I tried holding it out, but its a semi bumpy 2 lane road.

Talking Well, I haven't done any upgrades to the engine or exhaust system.

It is in the original stock condition.
On the way to work Monday I noticed a new Sheriff in town. He's got a white Charger with about 5 antenna's sticking out. He's got a big sheriff star on the front doors. Didn't get a good enough look to see any markers as to the vehicle set-up, you know like if it is a "Daytona" or whatever the souped up version is called now-a-days. He was cruising the back roads.
Any way my strip will be closed down for awhile to get resurfaced. I hope they do more than the tar and gravel they used to band-aid repair the road the last time.
And now that the temps are finally getting close to Summer-like, the Jack-Rabbits will be thick and heavy with coyotes chasing them. Then there are these huge Owls that sit on the road once in awhile while enjoying a meal. So, I'll be keeping the speeds down to about 70-80.
