Not sure if all 09's have "standard" performance seats, as the black one I mentioned above had the old style round front seats on both sides, the same as the 08 standard seat.

 

09 started off as the driver seat was an option when production was started at the end of June.

Then the driver seat was made standard with the top radio option in August.

Finally in Oct the passenger seat was made standard in all SS.

Each time they change the seat option they raised the price of the SS model.

So it is possible to have had all three styles in the 09 SS. The only 08 SS I have seen to date with the passenger seats are the GM preproduction SS or ones people converted with a Driverseat bottom.

 

That may explain these two cars, the red one with black/red seats and both seatsperformance, and the black one with the ebony two tone and both old style standard seats. Neither one mentions the performance seat option on the sticker.
