Thumbs up First impressions of my new S/S

I got the call from my salesman this morning, "They`re here", I jumped in my 1LT, hopeing it was my last time. It was.
Took the S/S for a test drive, I was sold. Boost/power on command. The automatic was great, no thinking about shifting up and down, just hit the gas pedal.
Of course spending the rest of the afternoon waiting to drive home was a killer, but well worth it.
I got on the freeway on ramp, a couple cars ahead of me, hmmm, lets see what this thing can do...
Zoooommmm, I`m in the fast lane, looked in the rearview, just headlights behind me, looked down at the speedo, "Whoa boy!!!, you`re doing 90mph", and could go for more with just a slight press of the right foot.
Man, it was sweet, anytime I tapped it, it was ready.
The ride is a little stiffer than the 1LT, I didn`t get the heated leather seats, but I can`t even began to describe the difference in the power, coming from the 1LT to the S/S.
Oh, did I mention it`s Black-n-Fast

congrats man. I love the SS, there is no power difference between that and the manual im convinced, I do think that will need to get and exhaust system in the future. I saw a red one that had solid black roof rails, looked stupid. Congrats again man

It doesn't come with heated leather seats anyways, as far as I know. Don't Break it before it is broken in.

I have test driven both and felt the power was about equal in both. I like 5 speeds but was very satisfied with the auto. By the way good luck with your new ride!

Good luck with your SS. Please keep us posted on your likes and dislikes?
Although, I anticipate few if any dislikes.
