I have that all the time with the HHR (believe it or not). I frequently have some high school "kid" challenging me with his mommies car or some $500 car with $1000 wheels. Sometimes a tricked Honda, VW, Toyota, Neon, etc. Only accepted once....way back. Won against a slightly modded Honda to about 65....I then shut down, where he flew past me for about a 1/4 mile more

I think some of you folks are reading more into this than intended. It was simply that he figured I was going to slow him up, and all of a sudden I was (gone). That's all there is to it, no race, no challenge, no big deal for heaven's sake. At least he had a cool attitude about it. Evidently some (one) folks have a continuous chip on the old shoulder.
