My wife still has no idea what the SS is capable of One day i'll show her, and i'll get the same type of response . They just don't get it.

 

Ya, dunno if i'll show her , rather keep it lowkey, since i had to own up and tell her i got a bogus speeding ticket in my truck just b4 i got the SS (80 inna 55) The trooper got me while i was STILL in a 70 mph zone(.6 miles from where the speed changed) and i was behind a dump truck spewing crud from his unlatched gate . When i was able to change lanes to get away from him droppin stuff on me, i was doing 72 MPH (check my speedo when i saw the trooper sitting there) At the time i knew i could not beat the "80 MPH" thing , so i took it like a man, but after i got the ticket n pulled away, i looked underneath the paper with the info on how to deal w/ the ticket, and read the actual ticket(while driving down the road now) and saw he had me in a 55 mph zone! Of course by the time i could get to the next exit and come back around, he was long gone So i debated on going to court and fighting it w/ the facts, and was going to, i decided that i would prob lose, (if the trooper showed up) prob have to pay the fine anyway, AND lose a day's pay. By paying the fine by c-card,(and agreeing to be "good" fer 6 months, it would not get to my insure company(no points etc) so i bit the bullet and paid it,,,GRRRR.
My wife sees the charge for the "county court" ,and i had to own up. Told her the story (dunno if she believed me LOL), and THEN i get the SS, so of course i gotta be good, and that's where i get the attitude from my wife if i go 2 miles over the limit when she's in the SS with me

Been lucky so far (in the SS) since i got it, but having the "gotta be a good boy" thing hanging over my head for a few more months don't make it easy to have fun w/ my SS

So that's why i got the 'tude from the wife after stompin' the K-car LOL.
