Got my SS today...

Noticed the hood gap right away! Did you figure out what it was? Mexican assembly line? Hope it's a simple fix. Love my SS, how may other vehicles give you the oommph for the buck at 30 mpg on the hwy? And can put a child seat in the rear and still haul lots of gear?

You might want to check if the hood is rubbing on your air filter box.
I had to increase the hood-fender gap to keep the hood off of the air filter box.
There is one spot in particular, look at the right rear/top corner.
If you like how your SS corners now, you should see how it handles with the TTR sway bar added.
The Brembo's are sweet, but the dust is as bad or worse as the stock caliper pads.
Don't sweat the lack of driving it much on your first day. This car will give you an itch to take long drives and longer rides on routine short trips. It is addictive.
One more thing, keep a close eye on the speedometer, you will be really surprised how quick this thing gets up to speed and you don't feel like you are doing 80 mph in that 45 zone.
And, when the occasional PT Loser comes up, your right foot just unconsciously wants to hit the gas and pass him in your dust.
Enjoy.
