Congratulations! I moved the thread to the SS forum so you can bond with the other SS owners

I'm jealous, dude. I love my Little Red Wagon, but that rare blue color is the bee's knees. I didn't even know about them until after I bought my car. Welcome and enjoy. Watch out for that intended acceleration! ;-)

Sorry, but this can't be unless you had them both painted the same color.

The only blue available for the 06 model year is Daytona Blue Metallic.

Daytona Blue Metallic was available only for the 06 model year.

I bet that you now have a Blue Flash Metallic. It's been available since the 08 models, and is a $400.00 extra charge.

This is a joke, right?

Fire hydrant, then tree?? Floor mats impeding accelerator??

Sorry to hear. Hopefully you are okay. A couple of years ago in my black HHR I had a pair of generic winter floor mats that caused the accelerator pedal to stick and the car to rapidly lunge forward. Thankfully, I was able to throw the vehicle in neutral and figure it out before anything bad happened. I am now glad that I have the Weathertech digital fit liners in my SS as I think these would prevent that from happening.

Here is the thread about it: Warning for those with thick floormats.

And yes everyone was fine it's just very disapointing to have a car get totalled after a week of ownership
