Exactly, Telling people they cannot find it likely shows, at some level, a lack of understanding of the electronics and programming involved. Since this isn't a 'black market' item, GM will know it's out there and could look for it. They may not know where it resides -yet- but if they get the module to a programmer, as Z said, they will find it. The data for the fuel/ignition/timing/boost tables are there and all they have to do is compare memory addresses to a stock tune.
That's why they call it a stealth tune, otherwise they could expose themselves to a lawsuit. If it was impossible, they would most certainly advertise it accordingly. I have gotten crap for stating this before from a couple people here, but it nevertheless is accurate.
Not knocking the product at all. I have read a lot of good reviews about it and have not seen a single bad word about it (rare these days).
Just trying to clear up some confusion on this subject.

I was going over the price sheet for hahn and was wondering what BSR - PPC Handheld Tuner was for. Is it the computer management system. I know that I will have to wait until my warranty is up but I am trying to get some ideas for upgrades. Does anyone know of upgrades beside the Stage 1 GM upgrade which won't effect my warranty. Thanks ya'll
According to Vince at Trifica[by e-mail], he says to expect around 50 hp,
and 70 flbs tq from his tune ,on a auto trans. Dual tune, stealth mode, infinaboost, switchable on and off, all for $400.00. Whats not to like?
People who have bought his tune, seem to really like it. I'm going to be next.

Now the only question is whether I put the switch on the cruise button or the tc button.

BTW, what are people gaining over the Stage 1 kit? I have HP tuner but I don't have time to do all that mess.
Hahn produces super quality products, and I have pretty much everything they have made for the HHR SS. I have the Hahn/PPC tune and am very happy with the results (over 30,000 miles using it). I think all the available tunes will give you power that will make you happy. I like the fact that you can go back to stock and reload the tune very quickly anytime you feel like it with the Hahn/PPC handheld. The GM tune of course is great since it retains the warranty. A very cool feature of the Trifecta tune is being able to engage or disengage it with the push of a button (TC). So take your pick and have fun. I also have the HPTuners Software, but other than looking at the tables, haven't really used it.

Sorry Bill, Got carried away with the questions here, I asked to have all the posts moved to a new thread I started..
Please? To all posting with the Trifecta Questions to post them in the new thread I started. Not in The Hahn Thread. Lets be polite.
Thank you very much.
