Has anyone done polyurethane trany mounts?
Already posted by another member in this thread:
Since i don't have them, I can't say but whenever someone says the vibration of some new mount is "barely" noticeable or something similar, I am immediately skeptical.
I've driven cars where people said there was no change or only a slight change and they were horrible. I've removed more poly than I've ever installed (engine mounts and suspensions.) I've found it's barely ok for parts that don't normally move like cradles (and even then it's still transmits into the frame) but when it comes to engine mounts and suspension, I have yet to find mounts that don't make the car feel pretty rough especially at idle (mounts.)
I will try a higher durometer rubber but poly is out in any moving part. I will replace factory parts weekly first if necessary.

I have em and they smothed out right nice...forget they are in there..well, have the upper mt.1st day u can tell..after a few cycles of wiggle they smooth out..really dont need all of them unless you have some serious racing in mind..I think using all 3 would prettty much lock the eng down..JMO
Mine are going in with my supercharger, cammed and ported head, and header/downpipe install coming up. (muffler has already been changed)

In it for Performance, not a Caddy ride.
(Opps, forgot I had posted here already.

I've got both on mine, I noticed it for the first 50/100 miles, now nothing, I just installed the TWN short shifter kit bushings and all, if it was vibrating now I'd feel it. With everything being a lot more solid you feel like your more connected to the power train
