HHR SS and CSRT
My
........As an owner of a Dodge (I've also been an owner of a few Hondas and Fords too)....... and a mechanic for a Dodge Dealership for three years (Did I mention I wrenched professionally for 10 years in an independent shop, was an ASE certified mechanic and a Maryland State Automotive Vehicle Inspector?) I can speak with some knowledge about the product. My "speak" is this.............BUY THE CHEVY!

If I recall correctly, it has 25 more horses and is lighter then the HHR 5sp. I also remember reading somewhere that it runs in the 14.5 range. Isn't the HHR about 14.8 range?
Would love to have seen the camera on the HHR through the run. Looked like once it got going, it kept up pretty well.

The CSRT is facter just as the video shows. But even with that all of the reviews point out the HHR is Nuch nore driveable and refined.
The torque steer in the CSRT is not good at all.
With a stage kit the HHR would be right about even if not just ahead. I am sure the stage kit was targeted at the CSRT.
I have not worked on a Caliper yet but I have worked on many Chryslers for years. THere was a reason they offered those long warranties on the past cars. You needed it. Todays Chryslers are a lot better but they still have their share of problems but no where nears like they used to. The Daimler connection upgraded many things.
In the end If I had to drive something American other than GM it would be a Ford first.

2. Yes i do. nothing too crazy though, probably just either staged kit, suspension work, intake/exhuast, cosmetic stuff
3. a long time.
I noticed that video seemed to be sponsored by Dodge (since they provided the cars in the credits).......
That also seemed like a slow run for the SS.
If only I lived my life a quarter mile at a time........
