Hi, new HHR SS owner...

Greetings all,

Just bought a 2009 HHR SS yesterday with 82k on it. Pretty sure it is all stock. Has Brembo brakes on the front and a Autometer pillar boost gauge (stock?). I used to have a Mazdaspeed Protege several years back that I had all kinds of mods on and pretty excited to be back in a boosted ride! Totally enjoying the quickness of my HHR (already got messed with on the Interstate by a Crustang GT this morning on my first day having it! sheeesh)

I've been trolling the threads a little and just curious if there is a short list of things I need to check for and or look at "fixing" before I start looking into any sort of mods etc. for it.

A few pics for your viewing pleasure.

Welcome to the site.

If those are the factory Brembos, then it's a 5 speed and will have the limited slip differential.
A pillar single boost gauge is stock on the SS, unless you have the optional
RPD (Reconfigureable Performance Display) in the center dash where the top "glove box" is. Cars with the RPD had no pillar gauge from the factory.

RPD.

The A-pillar boost gauge is stock and the Brembos were an option. Clean looking SS!

Nice looking car. I am a new SS owner myself and I really like it. I got the Trifecta canned tune from CJ this past weekend and I can't say enough good things about the tune and CJ was very helpful.
Welcome to the site. There are a lot of helpful folks here.
