well, i am 20, been driving for 4 years, no accidents/etc and my Camaro (1991 RS V8 AT 150K miles) was $122/mo full coverage (stating for comparison's sake) and my '08 SS full coverage is about $144. hope that info helps.

I guess the only comparison I would be interested in would be of someone who had an HHR and moved up to the SS.

Hello. My insurance rate only went up about $24 per year and my former car was a 2005 Impala SS. So for a three year newer car this is not so bad.

You could always just call your insurance agent and ask them. You can try the ProgressiveDirect site as well, if you don't want to make a call, though it didn't have the SS last time I checked.
