A few glitches but, overall, has been 99% trouble-free.
That is encouraging, since I plan on keeping the SS in the family for many years to come.

+1

Will be turning 60k miles on mine tonight and so far just relatively minor issues. Biggest expense so far will be new tires, the originals are getting mighty squirrely in the wet! Need to replace them this weekend.

60,000 on those tires ...hard to believe.. if you want a smooth all season look at the general Gmax 03. mine has 77k and I have 5 different tires on it, and even the ones I want to give away were twice a nice as them Michelin. You are in for a pleasant surprise when you put some good tires on it, happy motoring..

86,000 on my 2008 had the fuel pump replaced, and now it seems that the slave cylinder needs to be replaced, oh the battery went bye bye, other than that just the usual.......

I'm a stickler for keeping tires properly inflated and rotated, drive mostly highway miles and am old enough that I don't feel compelled to do burn-outs (well, TOO many burnouts ) anymore so getting 50-70k miles on factory tires hasn't been hard for me on my last three new cars. That said, yes I am looking forward to stepping up to a better class of tire and have been eyeing those Generals. Thanks for the feedback!

Got 60.5k on my stockers and still have room before the wear indicators..that said..on the way to work last night, in the rain..( imagine that, rain in Washington), i counted no less then 3 times traction was broke and lights lit up. Yeeee-Haaaa!! Was flashbacking to the racing days! Can say though i was never worried. Second nature to me to slide around....

I only got 29k miles on the original garbage tires - down to 3-32". i don't abuse the car, as it's only driven in crappy weather, since I ride my Harley to work every day. car is 4 years old & just turned 31k miles on it yesterday. i just replaced the tires about 1.5 months ago w/ the Goodyear Eagle GT. 100% better in the wet & snow!

How are the Generals as far as road noise?

I checked tire rack for reviews and no one had posted a review of them.
