With the magnaflow I can't say I hear them at all, well until I push them hard :) . Not that the exhaust is loud but If the tires were louder then it it would be an issue. LOL

I checked tire rack for reviews and no one had posted a review of them.

I was amazed/shocked at how poorly the Michelins perform in wet conditions.. They seem to be a very hard compound.

Ordered the General G-MAX AS-03's from Tire Rack last week and had them installed this past weekend. Have only driven them about 70 miles so far but it is obvious from the get-go that they are so superior to the OE Michelin in handling and in ride comfort too. The former is not unexpected as the General is a higher performance class tire than the stockers but the latter was sure a nice bonus. Those Michelins are hard compound tires, great for wear but bad for comfort and handling. Due to the more aggressive tread pattern, the Generals generate just a bit more noise but I wouldn't say it is overly obtrusive. Can't wait to really wring them out in the real twisties.

That pressure are you running in them....I found them to run silent in comparison with the Michelin, the Eagle's, the Potenza, and the DWS. I only run 30 cold.

Yeah, just checked...the shop aired them up to 35 psi. Too high, I like them no greater than 30-32. Will adjust them back down and see. The noise level really isn't bad at all right now.

120,000 miles on my 2008 SS automatic. Transmission was replaced under warranty at about 90,000 miles. The car has been good overall. Had an axle seal, front wheel bearing and sway bar link pins replaced and that's about it except for normal wear items like brakes and tires. Change oil and filter every 3 months and always use Mobile 1. Dealer is having trouble currently trying to diagnose engine light. Had a 2006 LT2 HHR prior to this one that was traded in with 118,000 miles, it was also a decent ride. A technician that calls on me at work has a 2010 SS Panel with a manual with 100,000 plus miles and would like to buy another when this one dies and was disappointed that they are no longer made.

Mine's at 115k right now. Bought it with 70 on it. According to the previous owner's notes, he didn't have any issues. Stage 1 installed around 15k miles.

I did have a check engine light that came up when I started it about a month ago that was a misfire on cylinder 3. Cleared it and it hasn't come back, so I'm not really sweating it right now.

Needs a new clutch right now, which will be it's first. Other than that I haven't had really any trouble with it. Not easy on it, but don't race it. Always change the oil at around 10% remaining and always use Mobile1 and a good filter.
