I ordered my .5-panel exactly four months before I took delivery.

My wife is very impressed. The HHR reminds her of our '85 T-Bird Turbo Coupe. It was black with a gray interior, 5-speed, aluminum wheels, fat tires, etc., etc.

Hmmm... the more things change...

That's the best I can do for now. I'll try to post to the gallery thingie when I get better pictures.
Very nice!

I didn't knew GM performance seats were available on both sides. Maybe it's new for the 2009 year model. I think GM should have done the same for the 2008 as well, right from the start. Two different fron seats is a little weird IMHO. My interior color is the same as yours.

AA5 is definately the best of both worlds. The look of a panel and the versatlity of a 4-5 person vehicle. SS's are rare site as it is, but the 1/2 panel is of paramount uniqueness. Enjoy turning heads...

Hey, upon closer examination of the pics, I see that both seats are matching performance type. Nice. Another very rare sight. And it doesn't have the reconfigurable performance display. I realize that many like this option, but I'm with you. As a veteran hot rodder, I prefer analog.

And not to mention, in 20 years when I'm still driving my vintage HHR SS, I don't have to worry about the display fragmenting (I keep vehicles for a very long, long time).

I LOVE IT! & I love even more the fact that your Honda is up for sale...more people should sell their Hondas and buy HHRs!

I'm going to have to wait a while before I apply that first coat of wax. It's supposed to rain here for the next WEEK.

Ugh.

87 Silver - you live right around the corner from my Saturday night home away from home - Orange County Fair Speedway! If you'd ever like to come out to the races, please let me know!

ymerej_mortsdnil - More people should be BUYING used Hondas! Mine is exceptional; well cared for, etc., etc. It looks brand new w/ 114,000 miles. I'm planning for the same from the HHR.

Nice ride VictorySpeedway!!

I had an AA5 before I bought my SS. Wish there were AA5 SS's back then and I could have had the best of both worlds.

It looks REALLY sharp man!

Impressions:

This thing handles like it's on rails. Absolutely the best cornering vehicle I've ever driven. It is an absolute BLAST to drive!

Gotta replace those speakers - ecch.
