11 days in the shop and they still can't fix it and you want me TO GET OVER IT?

I'm not whining because it's been in one time. I'm rightfully complaining about my POS car that they can't seem to fix.

If you don't like it then get the hell out of my thread.

I just talked with the dealer and GM Tech had them inspect the wiring harness at the PCM. When they grabbed the harness, the car started kicking out fault codes. They stripped the harness back and found a bunch of wires had worn through. Don't know what they rubbed on but they are fixing the wires now.

I hope this is it because I'm headed out of town tomorrow!

Wires worn through? I think there was just a bad batch from the factory. Never heard of wire wearing through on a new vehicle thats 1 years old or less.

I was fixing chaffed wires in 1976. This has always been a common problem on vehicles.

Chaffed wires? You mean like the ones that wore through on the bed of my new (at the time) 1985 Toyota SR5 pickup (in 1986)? Wait... did I say Toyota? How can that be? And the dimpling of the truck bed body panels above the fender wells never happened either -:)

Afterall, it was a Toyota and Consumer Reports said it was just great, right?

warrenty

One thing this forum has taught me is that I"m buying the extended warrenty bumper to bumper on my SS if I choose to keep it. To many gremlins to go wrong on these cars. I can't imagine having my car down for 11 days, even with a loaner. And I'm easy going.

I've declined the loaner and have been driving my Trans Am.
