And a little quicker pass but the wind and road noise made it kind of hard to hear

Nice! Mine has been in for a month now. Working like a champ. Finally put the lid back on. I can definitely tell a difference though with the lid on. Doesn't spool near as quick IMO. But it's not a dang race car so it works good enough for me. Going to get a tune this weekend. That should make me happy enough haha

Nice! Have to let me know how it goes. What did you decide on tune wise?

Im going to tun mine but going to do the suspension first, Also want to go ahead and get the TTR Motor Mount in before I throw more power at it hehe

I put the K&N drop in filter in a couple days ago and have been riding with the lid off. Just put the lid back on this morning so I'll see if I can tell a difference myself :)

After riding to work today with the air lid back on I must say it really made it quiet again. Is there any harm to running the air box lid off the car? I love the sound and the lid really dampens it.

No real harm. Just the issue of sucking in that hot air from the engine compartment. Oh. And the possibility of throwing a CEL.

Ohh ok, I found a thread that was a little older talking about it. Seems like mixed reviews. I took mine back off and so far no cells. We will see what happens. I didn't notice a difference in power. I'm going to try and fasten some kind of raised lid out of lexan that I can design up with some decals or something but still leaving it gapped so I can get the sound

A couple guys run spacers on the screws between the lid/box. I'm contemplating doing that on mine.
