Yup I'm thinking the same. I got some spacers but I need to cut them down just a little bit.

Im going to order up some color matched paint and paint the top cover first and snazz it up a bit.

Yep. Color matching the lid will snazz it up.
(a picture I used for something else, but you get the idea)

Havent updated in a while here but I ordered my front suspension and coils tonight.

Got AC Delco FE5 replacement front struts, New Strut Mounts and Nuts and the B&G Lowering Springs....

Hopefully everything will come in over the next week and next weekend we can do the install. I already got the replacement rear shocks, sway bar end links and bushings

Did a little work to the SS this weekend. I was able to get the passenger side done minus the one center cap that still needs to be blacked out. Kind of ran out of time and day light. Hopefully will get the other side done next weekend along with lowering the SS.

Waiting on the springs and new struts to come in and I will have everything to drop it.

Your car's looking good.

I love these little HHRS and it's almost impossible not to change them to your own personal look.

Right now mine is having black depot lights installed, a different position for the front liscense plate and a interior grab handle for the passanger side.

I have already added the gmstage1, enkei wheels and the rigid top motor mount.

I tried trifecta but it just never worked that well for me so I went back to the stock tune, though now have the HP tuner suite and will contract with a tuner.

In regards to lowering springs, just a word of caution.

I bought the B+G's and they we're too rough then went to the Enkei's and they were better though the back end still crashed on the rougher LA streets.

Also crunched the front lip of the lower bumper on off camber road dip so . . .

I love the lowered look, but gm did such a good job of combining handling and ride it's difficult to give up that great combination and I'm use to harsh cars given that I have an Evo 8 which is pretty much a go kart with a body.

I might try the SC springs from ZZP as I understand they ride the smoothest of all the lowering springs.

Thanks for the heads up. I had B&G on my Kia Soul before and it rode pretty decent. That was part of the decision to go with them again. I'll see how they do. The SS to me is already pretty rough compared to my older rides so hopefully it wont be too bad. :)

Spent the day and got my other two rims blacked out, Got all the new suspension parts in except for the Sway Bar Bushings.

Its nice and low and rides great!

Did B&G Springs, New End Links, FE5 Struts, new dampers and bushings, KYB Rear Shocks with all new hardware.

Rides brand new and sits super low!

I'll get sulley washed up and get some pictures tomorrow
