Low oil pressure??!!

I have checked my oil pressure in my car, I have an aftermarket meter i have installed and it started reading under 15psi at idle, used to be around 50psi I used a proper pressure meter and got the same reading. I haven't gotten a low oil pressure light on the dash. Only mods to the car are injectors, ignition, holset hx35 turbo upgrade, and high pressure fuel pump/lines what should be the first thing to check?

I would think the first thing to check would be the oil level.

levels are good, I'm trying to find a diagram or something that displays the components of the oil system, parts that have been replaced are cam phasers and timing chain system

The oil pump is set into the timing cover. I seem to remember someone putting theirs back together, only to find low oil pressure. Somehow the pump got damaged.

I'm curious why my pressure light hasn't shown up on the dashboard at 15 psi should that thing be derating my motor

You might also inspect the oil filter, see if it's clogged or crushed enough to impede flow.

Wait, where are you checking the pressure? I seem to remember talk of locations in the head and in the block. One is the incorrect location and gives a much lower reading.

towards the top of the motor can't remember if it was on the block or in the head honestly it's been a few momths since I checked, but I've been going through timing chains and oil pressure seems to be the culprit

Change out the oil pump, if you’re chewing up timing chains. I’ve trusted Melling oil pumps for decades.

I'm just worried that I may have spent a bearing, it idles cold around 20psi and warms up drops to 15psi I don't want to go replacing parts if I should just replace the motor
