I went to the site and it asked me to put in a year:
I put in 2008
It asked for a make:
I put in Chevrolet
Then a pop-up with model options comes up:
It doesn't list the HHR!!

I think that is insulting!

EDIT: Ok, I went back and tried again... You have to put in Cherolet truck... I still don't think of it as a truck, neither does the DMV...

Well, not impressed with all of the details from the website below:

Additional Information
Material:
Tubing O.D. Size:
System Type:
TIP O.D. Size:
TIP Quantity:
Single/Dual:
Exit Position:
Features and Benefits:

Nothing?!?

But, the dyno results do look promising:

Has anyone installed this cat-back system yet?
What size is it?
Does it use the stock hangers?
Any install issues?

By the way, they have a couple of sound clips of the SS HHR with this exhaust (even though they don't have any details)

From what I understand unless you have a stage kit or retune the computer intakes or exhausts will have limited increase in power.

The Stage kit has a learn mode that will adjust the computer to make use of other improvments.

If anyone can add to this or correct me please do.

That is correct, the stage kit will allow added HP with additional mods, stock will detune back to 260/260

I have the stage kit and my next step is exhaust. I just can't see spending over $700 (shipped) to get 10 HP and 10 Ft/lb ($70/HP & ft/lb) when the stage kit only cost $650 installed and I got 30HP and 45 ft/lb ($21/HP & $14/ft/lb)

Although, extra HP is probably going to get expensive beyond the stage kit, so I want to make sure the Magnaflow HP gains are real, and that it is a quality system.

Sorry to thread jack itsallu

$700 for 10hp/tq isnt a bad deal. you will rarely see a bolt on alone give more than that. its when it gets mated together with other parts that its performance effects will shine.

however, I would think with the tune you would more than likely see a higher gain

I was thinking that as well, I assume that Magnaflow's dyno's are on a stock engine.
I also see that the added HP/TQ don't start showing up until 4500 RPM, which is what I would expect by freeing up back pressure (more RPM = more exhaust pressure)

Still wondering if any members have put one on an SS??
