save your money paul and just top your tires off like normal. Bring a tire gauge and check them half way through or something.

Even 20 bucks to me is a waste for something you basically already have.

I've had my HHR since July and that recent time when i got them filled up was the only time I had to. Other then that i was always up to pressure.

Plus if you have to fill up your tires every once in awhile it gives you time to look them over. How are they wearing? do they need a rotate? got a nail in one of them?

Since our cars have TPMS you don't even have to get out to check them so it's not even a hassle.

Yeah, i think im going to save my 20$ and just buy
a air pressure checker at Orielys today. That will last
me longer and i can just get free air from gas station.
I rotated mine recently n didnt reset the TPMS .. does
that effect it a whole lot?

The location display is wrong now. So if it shows RF being low it will really be wherever you rotated that tire to.

Even if it is only $20 for the nitrogen, it is a major hassle for me to get to the dealer.

I need to buy a better compressor. The one I have that runs off 12 volts takes forever to get the pressures up. I also have an emergency compressor that works with foot pump action, but that takes a lot of pumping to get the tires up to pressure.

Make sure you switch legs while pumping, so that one doesn't become freakishly bigger than the other.

LOL! I actually do switch off legs, although I tend to knock the thing over with my left leg. This despite being a drummer which requires being ambidextrous with the legs.

I have noticed my MPG drop 2 MPG with the very cold air. I have not even been remote starting it.

As for the Nitrogen I have better things to do with my money. My tires warm or cold weather only change 1 PSI at most.

Now if I was setting stagger up on a Stock car where a 1/2 PSI can make a differance I see no issue. But on a street car we have lived with air for nearly 105 years and it works just fine.

It is just another way to jack people out $20.

Today people are making us pay for everything from TV to taking a dump. At this rate how long till they find a way to charge us for the air we breath. [Not counting the Oxyegen bars in LA].

i used to use one of the emergency jumper packs with an air compressor built in. i used the compressor so much i eventually blew it out (took 4 years though, not shabby)

my dealer is right around the corner, but when i went in there it ended up taking 15 minutes and they weren't even at the right pressure. So i'll probably use the gas station nearby, even closer then the dealer, and just pay the 50 cents or whatever.

I'm rotating the tires when i'm up in michigan since my dad has lifts. Plus i'll be doing the brake calipers (if santa thought i was a good boy) while i'm at it. Can't wait til one day i have a house and i can have a real compressor and some jacks and everything.
