the BFM got its first paint chip the other day on the LS rear door, right down to the primer. But being the guy that I am, I didn't freak out like I used to
Found a PPG paint supplier on my route, and just picked up (had them mix it up) spray can of BFM base coat and a can of clear. Also had a can of acrylic enamel mixed up, so I can use either or....probably overkill, but I have a choice on "touch-ups". Have to practice
But what I did learn, hey you are never to old instead of building up the chip with coats of paint, I bought this tube of filler and was told to use a straight edge to smooth it out and then use the paint over the filler, in all of these years, never thought to do that for chips, etc., but then you guys probably knew this already Anyway I feel better knowing I can do a better job in the future
If anyone needs the GM "WA" # for BFM, let me know, I will probably post it later. I think it is WA520Q but will check to make sure......later..............Tom
