it's a unicycle-actually the bike is for every time the car leaves me stranded-I took it off my '75 Mini that never leaves me stranded.

I am planning to mount a hitch on my SS. The way that I see it, I can either modify the hitch or I can notch my fascia like you did. Could you send me some details of how you notched your fascia (Like what tool did you use? Dimensions? Primer and then paint, or just paint?)?

It doesn't really push up that much on the fascia..it actually stiffens it, you don't see any distortion....and if you give it a good coat of epoxy paint it holds up to the elements a lot better...can paint match too.
